Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the TRRLJ Order Desk mobile application (“App”). You can browse parts of the product catalogue without signing in. Account features (ledger, orders, expiry returns, trade rates) require credentials we issue; there is no public self-registration.
1. Who we are
The App is operated by Tulsi Ram Roshan Lal Jain (TRRL Pharmaceuticals) for distributors, retailers, and field staff who work with us. Contact for account or privacy requests: +91 98886 14555.
2. Guest browse (without signing in)
Anyone who installs the App may view public catalogue information such as product names, packs, company names, MRP, stock availability, and limited scheme notes, plus public announcements on the home screen. Guest browse does not include price-to-retailer (PTR), ledger or outstanding balances, order history, expiry submissions, or customer search. Adding items to a cart on the device does not send an order until you sign in.
3. Information we collect
Depending on your role and how you use the App, we may process:
- Account credentials — username and password that we issue to you, and a session token stored on your device after login.
- Profile / account linkage — username, role (retailer or medical rep), linked customer code (CID) for retailers, and assigned company codes for medical reps.
- Business transaction data — product catalogues you can order from, order carts and submitted orders, ledger / outstanding balances, invoices and payment-related entries shown in the App, and expiry-return submissions.
- Photos you choose to take — images of handwritten expiry-return notes when you use Capture Expiry. Camera access is only requested for that feature.
- Technical / device data — basic app and network information needed to run the service (for example API requests to our servers). We do not sell advertising profiles.
4. How we use information
- Authenticate you and keep your session signed in.
- Show the correct catalogue, ledger, and account data for your role.
- Accept and process orders and expiry returns.
- Read expiry-note photos with automated text extraction (OCR) so you can review and submit returns faster.
- Operate, secure, and improve the App and related systems.
- Contact you about access issues or support when you reach out to us.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
- Our systems — data is processed on our hosted backend and databases used to run Order Desk.
- OCR provider — expiry-note photos you submit for Capture Expiry are sent to Google Gemini (Google) solely to extract product / quantity / expiry text for that feature. Do not photograph unrelated personal documents.
- Legal / safety — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the service.
6. Data stored on your device
After login, a session token is stored in the device secure store where available, and limited profile/cache data may be stored locally so the App can open faster. Guests may also cache public catalogue data on the device. You can remove local data by logging out and/or uninstalling the App.
7. Permissions
- Camera — optional; used only to photograph expiry return notes.
- Internet access — required to load the catalogue and, after sign-in, sync orders / ledger data with our servers.
8. Data retention
Account and business records (orders, ledger views sourced from our systems, expiry submissions) are retained as needed for distribution operations, accounting, and support, unless a longer or shorter period is required by law. Session tokens expire; inactive accounts may be disabled by us.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access limited to issued accounts for private features. Public catalogue endpoints may be rate-limited to reduce abuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children
The App is for business users (retailers and medical representatives). It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
11. Your choices
- Browse the public catalogue without creating an account.
- Request account access changes or deactivation via the contact number above.
- Log out to clear the local session on the device.
- Decline camera permission; you can still use the App without Capture Expiry photos.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
